Yvonne Mozzarella's and Saldin Qian's report (Compiled by Yvonne) on The Templars - Sept. 19, 2020. First, we used the computers in the library too look up some stuff on the Templars. We discovered that you can use 'search terms' to make it easier to use the internet. SMEE (that's still a dumb name) had an article on the Templars. They said the X-men were better, and that the Templars might have a hidden agenda. And the Templars don't send guest Speakers to SMEE when they ask for them. Then, there was a site for Peter Gibralter's (sp?) Group. It talked about what the Templars's had obligations to do (since they've all got powers), and whether they had a hidden agenda. :/ Next we sumhow went to India (we were supposed to go to Candyland. It was disappointing). Oh, and Jonathan came too. He ran into the room as we were leaving. :| There was an old mansion that was British or Asian or both there. But they had this advanced technology or something 'cause they knew we were coming (Jon said he heard them talking on his microphone thing). :) Before they went dead, Jon mentioned a woman named Kagiso owned the place, and thought it was an African name. (They didn't really die. They just stopped talking on the mike.) 8) Jon said something about them saying something about 'perimeter security', and that we weren't supposed to be there. But Saldin said the Universe always told him where he had to be. So we were supposed to be there, they just didn't want us to be there. -_- The door was opened by this hot Indian girl in funny clothes. But she wouldn't let us in when Saldin asked her to. :( She said something about zen and privacy and was gonna close the door when Jon asked for the name of the place. She wouldn't tell us, so Jon got all hissy and said the public wouldn't like that, and she didn't care. ;_; Then Jon started off on this crazy conspiracy theory which I thought made no sense, but it made the hot girl mad. So I told her we weren't with him; we were there 'cause the Universe wanted us to be. But she didn't care about that either. ;_; And so I tried to explain to her that we came a long way and asked her to let us in, but then Jon went and made her even more angry, so she closed the door. x_x After that, Jon and Saldin wanted to give up. But not me! I didn't come all the way to India to get kicked off of someone's front porch because of a stupid misunderstanding. So I knocked on the door again and again. But they wouldn't answer. I was gonna keep doing it, but Saldin said they were getting mad, so I stopped. And we went somewhere else. -_- Side note: Saldin said they Wanted us gone. With a capital W. x_x So next we wound up in the Chunnel. There was a lot of water in there. And we heard people talking. It was Ms. Lanova and Ms. Edge. She pointed a weapon at me. She was very on Edge. :P They were worried that the EU wouldn't keep its deal if they finished the work first. ¬_¬ But they were a lot nicer once we told them we didn't wanna fight. :3 So then Jonathan asked them why they were doing the work by themselves. They never answered Jonathan; they were talking about how he was a weird reporter. But they were probably doing it because Lonava has those water powers. ^^ Saldin votes for something more. >_> Saldin mentioned Breaker and asked why the Templars wanted to train her. Ms. Lonava said for two reasons: To teach her that she is free to live a life of her choosing, and that solely being extraplanar is not reason enough to judge someone. At this point I tried to get her to mention who she was going to put in the lineup for the Templars, but Jonathan's a big fat doodoo head and kept trying to change the subject. And he kept doing it until I told him to knock it off, at which point he went to sulk in the corner. ^_^_v So I didn't get her to tell us who was gonna be in the tournament. But I did get her to talk about the other teams! The one she's worried about the most is Peter Gibralter's group. Especially that guy named Mak. ;) According to her, Mak can remote control sacred objects, which he likes to use offensively. That could be bad for some people. :o I asked her about SMEE next. She said that they didn't like the Templars because they're not superheroes. And that they're not known for their standing forces, so they'd probably hire help. I guess they'd hire supernaturals, since they're SMEE and all... I then asked about the origin of her organization. Why she chose the Templar name and all. She said she only recently became head of the organization, and kept the name so it made it harder to investigate the organization. When I pointed out that this made it harder for supernaturals who wanted to join to track her down, she agreed that that was a disadvantage (Edgy didn't seem to think so, though :/ ). Contrary to belief, I don't think the group is invite only, although they do most of their recruitment this way. But Ms. Lonava seemed willing to listen to anyone who wanted to join. Well, any supernatural, at least. ^^; After that, I thought we got as much information from them as we could, but Saldin said he had another question. But then he just stood there for a long time and wouldn't react to anything. I thought something was wrong, and so did Jonathan, because he told me I should check him fully. So I started to take off his shirt. :3 I was going to take off his pants next, but he woke up. :[ Edge can do something to items in her possession related to her base plane, which is two-dimensions, but we're not sure what. My guess is she can make her sword two-dimensional, which would let it go right through armor and stuff. O_o Saldin says, "She is most likely a priestess of some sort, her powers being a well mastered blend of water, holy, and healing capabilities." Saldin doesn't think she'll be in the tournament, but I dunno... :/ So, after I attempted to strip Saldin, he snapped out of it, and we left (later discovering he had been using telepathy the whole time). We returned to SAB, where Jonathan apologized to me for being a big fat doodoohead. So... I guess I kinda forgive him. He's only a doodoohead. One that likes to hear himself talk. ^^; And that's it! \(^_^)/ Sooooo... to summarize: * The Templars are worried most about Peter Gibralter's group, especially Mak, who is Peter's favored champion. He can manipulate sacred objects at a distance. He'll probably try to bash people with a big ol' cross, or something. * SMEE will probably hire mercenaries. * Lonava, if she's in, has powers based on water, holy stuff, and healing. She might not be in, though. Saldin thinks she's too busy. But I think she might, because Edge will probably be in (Saldin agrees with me). Edge is never more than three feet away from Lonava, so I don't think she'd enter without her. * Edge, if she's in (see above), has powers that allow her to manipulate items in her possession related to her two-dimmensional base plane. We dunno what to make of this, but my guess is that she can make her weapons two dimmensional and pass through armor easily. She's also pretty good with a sword, so even if she doesn't use her powers she might be hard to fight. * The Templar stronghold is in India, and they keep to themselves very highly. They don't like tresspassers. The doorwoman is hot. * Everyone seems to think the Templars have a hidden agenda. I dunno about that. I think it's just prejudice, although it is true that they're holding back a bit in order to ensure they get what they want. That's the end of the report! But I do have on thing to add: I think the Templars might have infighting amongst themselves. The people at the mansion were awfully unfriendly and maybe about to do something rash before we left, and Lonava was upset about how they acted. Also, they were talking about betrayel and stuff. Like I said above, Saldin says they're moving slower than they could because they want to make sure the EU cooperates. But I dunno... What could they be "making a run" with? Water? Wouldn't taking the water out of the tunnel be helping the EU, not betraying them? Or is it really the EU they're betraying at all? Hmmmmm... Well, maybe, maybe not. I guess it doesn't matter for the tournament. Probably. That's the end of the report! Yay! XD
