[Kahlya finds herself wandering down a subway tunnel. She's had to avoid the occassional train, but there are side tuunnels for workers, so this isn't too much of a problem.] [She's not sure where she's going, but that doesn't stop her from getting there. She reaches a rather fortified looking subway station. Big metal door with an obvious camera and an Mi-5 logo. [There are also tiled walls which may or may not have anything interesting around them. At several points while she walking there, she got the feeling that the place she was tring to get to would involve a turn or something, but she wasn't trying to get anywhere so she ignored it. [Anyhow, there now. Date: August 14, 2020. Time: 1500 GMT. But somewhere it's midnight! Just don't ask me where, I'm bad with timezones.] [Weather: Who cares you're underground.] [Start!] * Kahlya walks down the tunnel looking about with an innocent expression on her face. Behind her back, looped up and tied is something long wrapped in a light blue cloth. She starts to step past the door, then hmms as she looks at it. * Kahlya wraps her knuckles up against the door. "So there you are." She looks at where the camera is placed. Close to the ceiling or at a point where she could reach it? (Ceiling) Salutations, we indeed are here. Who may you be? * Kahlya hovers up a little bit, putting her face as close to the camera as she can, peeking up at it. She speaks out with an obviously non-british English. "Um. Sorry, I wasn't expecting this." She turns her cheek from left to right, inspecting the camera. It looks like if she could reach it so her cheek had that big fish-eye effect on the other end, she would. It'd be odd if you had. Now, what's your name, and why are you here? No no. I wasn't expecting it to be this simple. This is it? This is the SAB is it? * An apparent steps out of the door, actually in a slightly faded looking Mi-5 uniform. "Well, this parts easy, the next part, if your purpose is what I think it is, I'm afraid is quite horrifying." * Kahlya looks over the aparition curiously. "I don't really do horrifying. Um, but is there, you know, an application process or something?" * Aparition nods. "There is, you've got to demonstrate a basic ability to keep yourself alive, and further that you can provide some benefit to our teams." Oh. Is that it? * Kahlya gives a grin. There's fangs to it. "I can do that." * Aparition smiles slightly. "I suspected as much. Well, then you have to either open your mind to me, and promise that you intend no harm to King or Country, or you face the horrifying bit. Uh...can I do the horrifying bit part? * Kahlya puts her fingers together and looks embarrassed. "I don't really like people poking around in my head." Your choice of course.. although when you're finished with the fifty pages of paperwork, you may wish you'd chosen otherwise. * Kahlya groans. "Paperwork? *That's* the horrifying bit?" So what's the risk of life? Getting a paper-cut? * Aparition smirks. "Obviously different things frighten us. Anyways, common, we'll have you facing genuine horrors soon enough. [The door opens.] * Kahlya blinks. "If you say so." She steps through the doorway. (Think that explains her basic introduction. And Kahlya obviously hasn't had to deal with serious paperwork before. :P) * Kahlya pulls out a notebook from a purse she was carrying and flips through it, looking confused. [End!]
