[Marguerite is in the SAB library! She's sitting in front of one of the presumed catalog computers, typing in words, hitting enter, and snarling. It's apparently not giving her what she wants, because she looks about to punch the damn thing. She's got pads of paper beside her... isn't it cute? She's so archaic.] [Start!] [Date: October 5, 1400 GMT. Weather: A bit nippy.] * Yuri walks in through a door. She's still wearing her brown jacket, and the top to go with her ripped jeans is red. She, as all the monks do, looks around to try to gauge her surroundings! There the fuck you are! I've been looking for you all damn day. * Yuri is taken aback at Maggie and says, "I... uh, don't live at SAB, you know." [The library does have a bit of a computer lab in front, a restricted reading area for arcane texts, and two levels of shelves in the back.]] Really? Then that's why I couldn't find you. * Yuri gives Maggie a golden-eyed look of being stunned before finally saying, "... yes." * Marguerite gestures broadly at the catalog. "I have no fucking clue about any of this shit. I get knowledge by beating the shit out of people till they tell me what I want to know." Can't argue with results... well, I can, but I'm not Master Qian so you don't have to get preached at. * Mai, SAB's resident librarian emerges from a staff-only door in the back just in time to catch the end of that. "Hello both of you. Let me know if there's anything I can do for you that doesn't involve getting beaten." * Mai, for the record, is a Chinese woman in her mid thirties. Doesn't look all that tough. She has fairly standard professional attire. But yeah. You're not supposed to punch librarians. Unless they've really pissed you off. * Marguerite grins. * Yuri looks around a little. "So... weirdness at your fight?" * Mai smiles slightly at that. "Glad to hear it." She then proceeds to collect some books from the secured reading area and begins putting them away, taking various mystical precautions as she does. She stays within heaing range if you have questions for her. * Marguerite nods. "Yeah. You know, the thing that had you running around in your skivvies." * Yuri nods a little, "Right." She rubs her neck. "It was a sonic thing, extraplanar..." * Yuri chews her lip and glances over to Mai. Thing is, I saw somethin' like it before. * Yuri looks back at Maggie. "Oh?" * Marguerite tilts back in her chair, propping her legs up on the table. "Yeah. Fighting other EU, actually. Fuckin' rogue agents. When I was the decoy, when we were waiting for Breaker to show in the first place." That is pretty weird... an EU thing... *glances over at Mai again* * Mai keeps working. She's currently putting away a book with a warning label sticker that actually has a pronunciation guide on what to say when openning it. * Yuri looks back at Maggie and says sorta quietly, "Ya see, though, uh, we've seen it before too." A bit. It's not... quite the same, but it's still pretty close. * Marguerite blinks suddenly, then grins. "Enough to scare you into packing heat, or is that something else?" * Yuri 's eyes widen and she glances down to her left side. "Uh... heh. Guess I can't hide it from an expert." And a little firecracker it is, too. 45cal? .50? Can you even fire it without snapping your wrist? * Yuri says a little defensively, "Yeees." * Marguerite is grinning like a wolf, obviously enjoying herself. * Mai glances over at this particular conversation. She seems slightly amused. "Wonder where you might have gotten something like that?" * Yuri looks over at Mai with a bit of a glare. "Can you butt out?" She hmphs, a faint blush entering her cheeks. "Sheesh." * Marguerite rolls her eyes. "I'm just jokin'. Just rare to see one of you monks with anything like that, though." * Mai raises her hands and looks bemused. "Right, I'll give you room. Knock if you need me." She heads off. * Yuri shakes her head. "Was just... Mai. And well, we're not your everyday monks." So I've noticed, what with your gender-flopping boss and all. * Yuri snickers a little. "Yeah. You figure he'd get the hang of it after 4 years." * Yuri stretches a little. "Saldin's like that though. Work work work." He seems like a hardass. You even get smoke breaks? * Yuri blinks. "I, uh, don't smoke?" I still get a little time to myself, though. For a bit longer. Till you get promoted to high muck-a-muck or whatever? * Yuri chuckles slghtly. "Kinda like that." She glances over towards the gone Mai, then says, "So, uh, about the weirdness, the problem with what Saldin and I have seen?" Yeah? * Mai stays gone. But may be snickering somewhere. Poor Yuri, when we she find peace? It matches up with... well, at least three of the SABers. SABites? How do you people say that? * Marguerite FROWNS. Operatives. Ah. Right. Who? * Yuri smiles a little. "It's... I'm not trying to get you paranoid or anything..." Who, dammit?! * Yuri looks down for a second, then looks back at Maggie and says, "Saki and Katherine. Tim, less-so." * Yuri hastily adds, "All that means is they're from the same dimension.' * Marguerite sits forward in the chair. "Katherine and Tim are related. I heard him call her aunt or somethin'." Dunno about Saki. I guess. Tim's... different from Saki, and Master Qian says Saki and Katherine are the same. And they're all different from these things, right? * Yuri nods. "Yeah. No posession, not twisted..." But they're not EU. These other things - they local to EU, that you know of? * Yuri shrugs slightly. "You're the only other person who's talked to us about 'em, and actually seen them." * Yuri frowns a little, remembering, "Saldin repaired the one EU guy..." Right. So the EU probably knows, and they're keeping it covered. Or otherwise they're fucking stupid. * Yuri chuckles. "I guess. Uh... I've got a question, though." But that's secondary. We can go to the EU and start bustin' some fucking heads when we know what they are... eh? Well, we, Saldin and I, haven't been bringing it up... but if SAB knows anything about Katherine or Saki or Tim... well, maybe that'll help us with the twisted spirits? Mmm. Well, I guess we start the bustin' heads at home, hey? Uh... do we really have to bust heads? Figure of fucking speech, kid. We gonna actually go talk to people, or they got a personnel system? * Yuri blinks, then chuckles. "... you're asking me? I live in Japan, Mad Dog." I don't know shit about "researching", and I'm dying for a smoke. It's been fifteen minutes and they won't let me light up in here. * Marguerite stands up and grabs her pads. "Let's go talk to the boss, then." * Yuri nods a little and shifts her coat. "I guess, yeah." [Eckerd's office is not that far of a walk down the hall. She's apparently in and the door is partially open.] * Marguerite walks out of the library with a smoke lit, though it wasn't lit inside ... Lighting Lighting! * Yuri isn't watching Maggie light up, instead seeming to be more focused on keeping the jacket good and covering. * Marguerite knocks on the door, cause she's polite to people who give her moneyt. Enter. * Marguerite strides inside. "Hey, boss-lady. You got a minute?" * Eckerd looks up from the paperwork she's going over. "I do. What do you need?" * Yuri follows, clearly letting Maggie lead. * Marguerite turns a chair backwards and sits in it, arms over the back, cigarette dangling off her lip. "You watched my fight, right?" Versus the EU guy. * Eckerd glances at Yuri as she enters and then looks back to Marguerite. "Yes, you performed quite well. This about what happened afterwards?" She glances at Yuri again. Good nose. Yeah, it is. You remember the EU guy we pulled from that decoy mission? The one Saldin had to un-brainfuck? * Eckerd nods. * Yuri nods a little and lets her hands hang to the side, casual-like, while looking at Eckerd. Same deal with both Peter and the EU rogues. That's what's got me spooked, see? Turns out, Yuri here says she and Saldin've been picking up sonar or whatever from three SAB ops who match, or come close enough to, these things. * Eckerd nods at the first bit and then seems surprised at the second. "Which three?" Katherine, her nephew Tim, and Saki. * Yuri speaks up, hastily again, "I don't mean they're the same... just with their powers or beings from the same place. Ma'am?" * Marguerite counts them off on her fingers. * Eckerd nods. "All Japanese. I'll pull what we've gotten from the EU about the possessions. We've been restricting their agents access to the UK ever since that debacle." She goes to pull a file from behind her. "I wonder if... no, Tim's too young." * Yuri speaks up, "Well, ma'am, Tim's a little different anyway..." * Marguerite leans back in the chair and takes a nice long drag. * Eckerd opens up the file. Awareness check if you want a glance. "Is he? Well... this might then be tied to rather nasty business in Japan about fifteen to twenty years ago. They kept a lid on the details, but apparently there was a real bloodbath. The Katherine seems about the right age and Saki's Interpol work would also seem to match." * Yuri frowns a little. * Marguerite also frowns. Interdimensional crisis? * Eckerd looks at the file. "They currently suspect that Peter was responsible for the first three possession. He'd be well positioned to compromise his own squad. They're still working on the why." He was a priggish fuck who would take any route to not being a shitty agent that he could get his hands on? * Yuri snickers a little. * Eckerd looks to Marguerite. "Largely self-contained actually. They seem to mainly target their own." She then looks up at Marguerite. "That seems a reasonable working theory. Still leaves something to be explained though." (Err) (She then listens to Marguerite's idea.) Someone offered him a way to finally be good at somethin', he'd take it... question is, who infected him? * Eckerd leafs through the file. "They're being circumspect until the investigation is done. Which will apparently be another few weeks. There's nothing on the possible source." * Marguerite muses. "So we can't go up that way... we gotta go top down, then. Start with this Japanese thing and work out." * Yuri mms a little, still hovering around frownland. * Eckerd looks at Marguerite. "You actually may be able to get something out of them." She smiles slightly. "As I think they'd really want to know what you know now." If there's one thing I'm good at, it's leanin' on people. * Yuri 's eyes widen. "Out of the EU? Uh, miss... Eckerd?" * Marguerite grins. "Aside from shootin' people, of course." * Eckerd looks to Yuri. "Yes?" Doesn't that seem, uh, unsafe? 'Yes, nice people, we have three agents who come from the same place as the spirits that have been messing with you?" * Yuri asks, "You think they'll do any better than Peter Gibraltar?" Even he doesn't kill on sight. But no, I wouldn't reveal that piece of information. ::she looks to Marguerite:: I trust Ms. McLochlane that you'll be able to limit the information you give in exchange? I just tell 'em it's connected to Japan. Got it. * Yuri rubs her jacket arms. * Eckerd nods and then chuckles briefly. "I've heard a few rumors that also suggest it may involve tarot cards. Perhaps best not to tell the EU given Tim's displays. But it might be useful to you." (Actually Tim's -> Mr. Shimiru's ) * Marguerite nods. "I'm gonna get to the bottom of this, ma'am." She stands up. * Yuri bows a little at the woman. "Um... I'm glad I can help, I think. Master Qian has good things to say about you. And, um... thanks for the money." * Eckerd nods. "We'll cover your expenses while you do." She looks over to Yuri and nods to acknowledge the bow. "Thank you. I rather think Breaker would be better of with you than on Smee's convention circuit." * Yuri nods emphatically. (Right, so, to the EU?) (Gimme a sec, phone call I had to take) ( Click on Virtual Stuttgart if you want a feel for the base. http://www.stuttgart-tourist.de/english/stuttgart/index.html _ (Well for the city the base is in ) * Marguerite grins as she walks out the door. (Good to go!) (Yeah, sure.) [Dateline: Stuttgart. Early evening. The base actually operates out of a secure section of larger EU military complex. It can be approached on foot. There's a guard post by the entrance. Maggie knows from experience that they've probably been in sniper sights since first coming upon the place.] [The city itself still is surrounded by forests and ample hills.] * Marguerite is speaking in Japanese to Yuri. She cracks up, but she's moving in an oddly smooth manner where even Yuri can predict her next move. [Gate guard keeps an eye on you as he scan the rest of the perimeter.] (scans) * Yuri does seem just a little shocked, although not appalled or anything. * Marguerite strolls towards the guard post. * Guard looks over and queries first in German. "What's your business?" * Yuri continues along. * Marguerite responds in English, giving the guard The Eye. "Here to talk to Colonel Ortiz. No, we don't have an appointment, yes, you can call ahead, yes, if you try to fire I'm going to turn your guard shack into its component atoms." * Yuri ... waves cutely? Hi (Intimidate roll please Maggie. :P) * Guard nods and quickly consults his radio. He then opens the gate without further comment. * Marguerite strolls on through. * Yuri smiles a little as the guy gets ditched, then shakes her head, * Yuri laughs slightly. [And a commando (tall, blond, Maggie doesn't know him) walks out from the front entrance and heads in your direction. He's armed, but is keeping his weapons checked at the moment.] * Marguerite gestures at the guy. She walks towards Blondie. Afternoon. I'll be your on base escort. I am legally prohibited from taking tips, but I will thank you not to vaporize me." Aw, fuck, they warned you. * Yuri arches an eyebrow at the guy and side-comments, * Marguerite grins, and lights up a cig. We do try to use those radios of ours. Now, if you'll follow me I'll lead you to the Colonel. * Marguerite nods. "Good deal." * Marguerite looks thoughtful, and tries a phrase in Gaelic at Yuri. * Blondie leads on. He seems fairly fit on the whole and unappealing from the back. He takes you acrossed a parade ground. * Yuri nods slghtly at him then replies back in, (in japanese) * Marguerite follows serenely, and says in Japanese * Yuri replies, [The actual base has a fairly standard look about it, with the occassional extra piece of heavy weapondry and odd spirit to catch Yuri's attention.] * Marguerite looks around. "Haven't done much redecorating lately, have you?" * Marguerite waits for a bare corridor, with very few or no people around. They recently replaced the motivational posters. The old ones had gotten to torn up to be used as knife and dart targets anymore. [And you get one about a minute later.] * Yuri nods saying hesitantly, * Marguerite puts her hand on her DE and stops walking. "You're going to be very dead in a few seconds unless you tell us where you're taking us, Blondie." * Yuri gets a frown on her face as her eyes gleam gold. It might be scary if she weren't so adorable. * Blondie stops. "Barracks 6, first floor, sergent's quarters, where the colonel awaits." Why would the Colonel be waiting in my old squad barracks? You can't possibly have thought I wouldn't recognize the path. (Correction. Lieutenant.) And my old lieutenant's room, too. I believe it had something to do with the business the Colonel suspected you were here to discuss. However, I apparently did not need to know the specifics. * Marguerite frowns. "I'll take that excuse for now. Walk on." She doesn't take her hand off her DE, though. * Blondie keeps walking. When you get to the old barracks you notice that the relavent section has an "Off limits pending official investigation. No entry without permission of Colonel Vega Ortiz." There's actually another guard by the door. * Marguerite looks a little appeased. "It's nice to know not everyone's out to kill me. Yet." * Commando nods to the door guard who checks his ID badge. (Blondie that is) * Yuri licks her lips. * Door guard nods and opens the door. * Marguerite still has her hand on her piece. Nice and paranoid. * Yuri nods a little and says, after a bit of a pause, * Blondie leads you in. There's actually security devices on the inside windows and such. On the whole the barracks looks like it hasn't been touched for at least a week. * Marguerite looks around. "Home again, home again. I wonder if the Mad Pole still stashes his porn in the head." Wha? * Blondie snickers at that and walks up to a door and knocks. "Sergent Klienman reporting with two visitors, sir." The guy I fought. The Mad Pole was what he tried to get people to call him. Usually we only said it when we were talking about his other pole, if you catch my drift. * Marguerite grins. Open the door and let them in. Thank you Sergent, you're dismissed. * Yuri flushes slightly. "Uh... ah... sure." * Blondie opens the door and turns to the two of you. "Well, it's been fun. If you ever want to exchange death threats or hear stories about my time as a marine in Okinawa, don't hesitate to call." * Marguerite grins. "Will do." * Marguerite walks inside... hand still on her gun. * Yuri bows slightly at the man and then follows quickly. * Blondie walks off. [The room isn't all that unchanged from years ago. A fairly suggestive calender, bed, places for equipment storage, footlocker. Slightly messy.] * Vega is currently looking down at a tarp that has the contents of said footlocker. Mix of personal articles, cigarettes, nothing much of note. Ah, the site of a host of unsatisfied women. All fuckin' four of them. Guten Tag, Fraulein Vega. Wie gehts? (What's the last question mean?) * Vega replies in German. "I am well Fraulein McLochlane. And you?" She then adds another phrase in German in the same tone. * Yuri looks like she doesn't know German. She's got a thoughtful look on her face, though. I'm fine, but I don't know German. I do, however, have some information you might find interesting. * Vega looks up. "I'm glad you are well. And I was asking if you'd be so kind as to take your hand off your pistol." * Marguerite does so. "Pays to be careful, you know. How's the housecleaning coming?" It appears the measurers we instituted after the three commandos were possessed were suffient to prevent further problems. We've scanned the base and everyone on it and are sure there are no more entities present at the moment. Organization wide scans are still ongoing. * Yuri nods a little and says in a relieved voice, "I was wondering why you didn't just do that." Nothin' on how these guys got to Peter, huh? * Vega adds with some distate. "Peter had been scanned, and was clean at the time. I'm assured that would not have been possible had he been possessed against his will." (Switch order on those two) * Yuri frowns slightly. "That's..." * Vega looks to Maggie. "I've been through his mission file. Nothing jumps out." You got any more quid to share before we lay our pro quo on the table? * Vega smiles slightly. "I have been through his expense reports. The man expensed everything." She then scowls. "I think he had five different euphanisms for employing the services of prositutes. There's also going to be a house cleaning in... But." * Marguerite grins. "Sounds like Pete." He apparently visited Smee headquarters in England during the first round of the tournament. You didn't hear it from me, but I think he acquired combat profiles on SAB fighters while he was there. ::She looks to Yuri:: Not your people though. Even the SAB agents amongs them. (among) * Yuri frowns a little. Click click click. "I... that's not... a crazy guess." When was his last scanning? * Vega nods. "I wasn't told the specifics. However, it was obvious the briefings were from Smee files. How Smee got ahold of your records, I don't know." A week before the tournament. So. Smee is the obvious guess as the infection vector. Fucking awesome, hey? * Yuri shakes her head. "No... he was... infected on the platform." ... so there's an insider? Jesus! * Vega nods. "We also don't have any reports of interaction with Smee before that meeting. Moreover Smee has a large number of members and we'd have a hard time tracking the one in question. Admittedly, Mr. Gibralter's group regularly claims they're a front for a, if not the, devil we haven't found any evidence to back that. * Yuri snorts. "Peter Gibraltar thinks anything from outside our plane is evil." * Marguerite rocks on her heel and lights up another cigarette. "Secondary, then... can we get copies of his expense reports? Then we'll tell you what we came here with." * Vega considers for a moment and then nods. "Deal/ * Marguerite nods. You can have my personal copy. I'll make another. What have you got? We've got a strong hunch, due to certain back information we can't reveal, that this tracks back to an incident in Japan, about fifteen to twenty years ago. * Yuri shifts how she's standing a bit and doesn't seem to be paying much attention. A pretty bloody incident, so I hear, that they tried hard to cover up but didn't, seeing as how we know. Y'know? * RowynAway has joined #sab2020 * RowynAway has left #sab2020 * Yuri turns away from the little info trade and starts looking around. * Vega nods. "I may have heard something about that. High school and early college, Tarot, sounds like something out of those incredibly violent cartoons they make?" (Actually drop Tarot. She doesn't know that. :P) From what I hear, yeah. We're gonna be working on that end, it'd be nice to have some fucking corraboration on this crazy shit. * Yuri continues walking, and her right hand drifts up to the center of her chest. (Give me a sense roll Yuri.) * Vega nods and pulls out a datapad from her briefcase. "Let me see if that matches up with anything." [Vega looks over the datapad, she presses a button everynow and then, but it largely seems to update as if being used without any action on her part.] * Yuri frowns a little and walks back over, behind Maggie. * Marguerite cocks her head slightly towards Yuri. * Yuri then says quietly, * Marguerite turns back to Vega. "You mind if we take a sweep around, just as a kind of formality?" Interesting. He apparently was part of a team checking out an Interpol report of possible international supernatural criminal ring. His subject was a Japanese businessman. He reported back some shady dealings, but nothing supernatural. This was before the three commando possession incident. (Actually, strike my statement.) (Sure.) (I'll hold till after this.) So it does check out. Fuckin' wacky. * Marguerite looks around the room, then back at Vega. "You mind if we take a sweep around, just as a kind of formality?" * Vega nods. "You're welcome to, if you don't mind my accompanying you." Okay. Lead on, MacFuck. ... What? * Marguerite glares at Yuri. "Nevermind. Let's go." * Vega stands and smiles slightly. "If you're quoting Shakespeare, the line is 'Lay on,' an invitation to fight. Common mistake." She then starts the tour of the barracks. It's called a paraphrase, ain't it? * Marguerite follows along.l * Yuri frowns and walks. Her hand's still resting right over the middle of her chest as she looks around. * Vega takes you by the other rooms first. Give me an SS check Yuri. * Yuri frowns. "This whole place is... full of the feel of posessions." I can't even figure out exactly where. [Vega points out three rooms. These were the ones that the possessed commandos slept it.]\ * Marguerite frowns. (And check again, -2 bonus) * Yuri continues frowning. "Those three are definitely... potent." Nothin' special? * Vega stands back, letting Yuri take her time. ... other than the obvious? * Yuri shakes her head. "There's got to be something else. There's too much here for just three... operatives." * Yuri starts walkng down the hall, holding her hand out towards each room as she passes. Her other hand is actually gripping at something pendantlike above her chest. * Marguerite follows, watching Yuri work. [Nothing new is showing up.] Well, we could check the rest of the barracks. * Yuri nods slightly and lets go of the amulet. "I still don't..." She shakes her head. "Might as well." * Marguerite nods again. She's chewing on her cigarette. * Vega starts walking down the hall. "There's the mess, arms locker, and the common room. And the bathrooms of course." * Yuri takes deep breaths and reaches out towards things again as she walks. * Vega take you by the arms locker first and opens them up first. "Nothing missing from the squad locker tankfully." Good... Man, this is all so weird. Wasn't too long ago I hung out here. (Feel free to make SS rolls as we go) * Yuri says slowly, "Welcome back, huh?" * Yuri looks exasperated. * Vega then heads towards the mess hall. Yeah, really. * Marguerite follows. * Yuri says in a tone tinged with annoyance. "Stop, please. Maggie, you did say the guy you fought hid things in the bathroom?" * Yuri turns from the arms locker towards the bathroom. * Vega stops and turns around. Yeah. Porn. Bad fucking porn, too. * Vega nods. "In the toliet case in a sealed bag. Given his tasted I replaced it as fast I could." (tastes) [The bathroom is unisex, with seperate stalls and shower sections and sinks and such.] * Marguerite chuckles. "Replaced it? With what?" * Yuri walks in, shaking her head. * Vega gives Maggie a look. "My fault, shouldn't have given the opportunity. I put it back where I found it." * Yuri walks over to whatever looks like the male side. "Would it be too odd if I said that I really do not like where this logic train is leading?" * Marguerite laughs. [Yuri finds it easily enough. Standard toliet.] * Yuri closes her eyes and opens the toilet. "Ugh. Yes, it's in there. What in the world..." she fishes out the bag, not looking at it. (The tank, rather.) [She indeed finds a bag of porn.] * Yuri isn't looking at the porn! Eyes shut! Aw, hell no.... * Yuri shivers slightly and opens her eyes just enough to see where she's walking as she heads over to a sink. "It's in the bag." * Vega frowns. "I shouldn't be surprised." No, not at all. * Yuri opens the bag with her eyes at a squint, saying nervously, "You, uh, wanna help with this, Maggie?" * Marguerite rolls her eyes. "Jesus christ." She takes the bag and opens it. [It does appears that while Peter is quite capable of prevarication he is fond of sizable posteriors.] [After a bit of searching she finds some papers hidden in one of the magazines.] * Yuri closes her eyes again. "Just... seperate everything out. You know, when Saldin took me to the temple, I was never warned..." [The papers include two tarot cards. One of the Devil, one of Death.] What, you'd have to look at asses? * Yuri keeps her eyes shut. "I don't know what is on those." [There's also a few photocopied briefing sheets on Maggie and her abilities. In Peter's handwriting.] My eyes are closed. Completely closed. * Vega manages to watches. [There's also a similar write-up on Saki. Both have pictures.] * Marguerite pulls out the cards and the papers, then tosses the magazines over her shoulder. "Well." * Yuri opens her eyes carefully. "Found something?" [And lastly, an equipment list, including a good number of grenades of multiple type, small bombs, range of guns, enough to well equip a small squad.] Yeah, you're clear. Fucking celibates. We've got... two tarot cards, dossiers on me and another SAB op, aaand an equipment list. * Yuri walks over and says, "The tarot cards?" Death and the Devil. * Marguerite holds them up. * Vega leans in. "Equipment list?" She then slowly lets out a breath. "I'll run a full inventory of all the other weapons stores. Wouldn't have thought he was bright pull something like that." * Yuri makes a face and says, "Well, he picked a good place to hide things." * Yuri glances at the other things. "... Saki?" Don't feel bad, Vega. Neither would I.... * Marguerite nudges Yuri hard with an elbow. * Yuri doesn't really budge on her feet but she does get nudged. * Vega nods and smiles slightly. "Thanks." * Marguerite sighs and rubs her head. "FUCK." * Vega looks over the evidence. "These Japanese spirits have any reason to go after you or the other operative?" * Yuri chuckles and says, "Uh, well? Annoyed any Japanese people lately, Maggie?" Not that I'm aware of. Except she's Japanese and I fucking well speak it. [Oh, and the Saki writeup is incidentally not in his handwriting.] * Marguerite nods. "Thanks, Vega. You're not so bad, after all." She grins. * Vega smiles slightly. "We're on the same side this time. Makes a difference. I'll get on this and see what we can find. I'll make copies of these so we each have one." Right. So, any other potential traitors in our ranks we should no about? Proper investigatative and disciplanary action towards the Lieutenant would have avoided all this." None I know of in the EU. * Yuri shrugs helplessly. We find out anything, we'll let you know. * Vega nods. "Same on my end." [And end!]
