[Arktos gets to the police station first, followed shortly by Kurt.] [Currently the front door is closed, and all the windows are barred.] * Kurt thumps on the door loudly. "Hey! Open up! Government agent!" If you can't open the door, just scream. [There's a fairly growly deep voice from behind the door. "We feel safer with the door closed, thank you." Why Grandma, what a deep voice you have! Open it up, or we'll have to open it for you, bub. Do I sound like a wolf? What's your intention? We're here to cure some werewolves. Your government is here to help you, gentlemen. Means of cure? Simple injection, and then you sleep it off. You've just got a really bad case of the flu. Fair enough, just a minute. [You hear a few yelping type sounds and whimpers from behind the door, they get quieter over the next few seconds. * Kurt opens the commlink. ~Red, you might wanna listen in, here.~ ~I'm listening. Whatcha got, Kurt?~ People in need of cure. I'm gonna need you to send somebody with a refill tank, I think. ~Or Maggie, but she's prolly busy. How many people? And are they not putting up a fight?~ No fight yet, they're opening up the door. That's why I want the link open, just in case, ya? Sounds like a fair bit, though. [Hearing checks, both of you, HA doesn't count.] ~Passed on an order for the refill tank, Kurt. Should be coming shortly.~ ~Thanks.~ * Kurt knocks on the door again. "Oy, you guys gonna open up?" * Kurt murmurs to the side as Arktos arrives, "Hey, go see if there's a back door." ~Good news gets better. We've got a tank on this very helo. We'll be dropping down soon to set it on the ground near yer.~ [Just then the door opens, there's a fairly flustered look man there, doesn't look damaged.] * Arktos nods and circles around the building. Most of us are fine, there's a few werewolves currently sitting in the jail cells. Good, good. * Kurt steps inside, withdrawing a pair of injectors from his thigh pockets. Take me to 'em. [About now the helicopter comes in overhead and comes down a bit, to you arktos and just a sec.] [Helicopter leaves.] [Arktos doesn't see anything but an open window and the metal bars behind said window ripped off in back] * Arktos stops at the front door, barely gone for a second. "Do these cells have barred windows?" Dunno. Did they drop off that refill canister? [Kurt finds everything as he was told, there's actually a dozen uninjured people in the back area. The helicopter descended. ~Sounded like yer didn't need it after all. We're right overhead if you change yer mind.~ Okay, if anybody's been scratched by one of these wolves, you need to come forward now. The bars on the back window have been forcefully removed. Otherwise, I'm gonna start handing out cures. ...they have? Shit. * Arktos nods. Arktos, cure the wolves here, willya? [The window was not to one of the jail cells.] Understood. * Kurt hops out said window and begins looking for tracks. * Arktos pulls out a pair of injectors after refilling them in his refill canisters. "Has anyone here been injured by one of the wolves?" [Everyone shakes their heads.] ~Red, can you gimme some light down here? I've got a possible escaping wolf.~ (wilderness tracking (forest) Kurt ) * Arktos keeps the injectors in his hands, nods briefly to the people, and heads for the cells. ( Made. ) [Everyone seems fairly freaked, but not quite as freaked as they could be, mostly their being quiet and doing what the nice cyborg tells them to.] ~Will do, Kurt.~ [The tracks get lit up] [Arktos, meanwhile, manages to handle the wolves in the cells without too much incident.] ~Following tracks. Keep an eye out here, Red, and be ready to call in the cavalry.~ * Kurt starts following the tracks as quickly as he can. ~Jailed lycanthropes neutralized. Do you require assistance, Kurt?~ ~Feel free to follow.~ ~On my way.~ * Arktos draws his sword, sets the thing alight by mental command, and heads after Kurt. ~I've got yer back, Kurt.~
