[Arktos: Battling a big rock guy.  Currently the rock guy is winning.]
[Miles: Just teleported back by the rock guy and is prepping some magic.]
[Baddies: Rock guy (left tunnel).  Ice guy (unknown).  Teleport guy (Right
tunnel several train cars up according to Kahlya)]

[Current surviving terrorists: one on the upper level of the car near Arktos and
Miles, presently shooting at people.]
[Dead terrorist count: half dozen or so.  Surviving terrorist count: Unkown.]
[Init order: Yvonne, Arktos, Ren, Kurt, Miles, Saldin, Teleporty guy, Yuri,
Kahlya, Ice guy, Civies, Terrorists, Stone guy.]
[Kahlya just got blowed up, I'll let her take the second half of her turn.]
<Grysar> (Correction)
[Ren, Yvonne, Arktos, Kurt, Miles, Yuri, Teleporter, Saldin, Kahlya, Ice guy,
Civilians, Terrorists, Stone guy]
[People coming in show up when they hit their init.]
[Kahlya can take the second half of her turn, presuming the explosion changed
her outlook at all.]
[Start]
* Kahlya winces and holds her shoulder, staggering against the side of the
tunnel that blew up. "Ow. Ow. Alright, change of plans." She points to the front
of the car in the right tunnel. "Yvonne, that one guy's in front. Make sure that
any people in there are okay. Get Miles to go with you when he gets a chance.
He's our best against the porter..." She checks back in the tunnel. "I'll.." She
winces again. "I'll back up metal man
* Yvonne tilts her head at Kahlya, swaying a bit. "Oooooh... I don't feel so
good."
* Kahlya smiles, her face a blackened mess. "I don't think either of us look it.
But we've gotta do something quick." She stands her ground in the middle of the
tunnel as the black mist surrounds her. The last thing Yvonne sees is her
starting to spin her scythe out in front of her, facing the left tunnel
entrance.
<Yvonne> Too tired to do something.
* Kahlya sighs. "Fine. Stay by me for the time being then."
[Slight clarification, Kahlya points a few cars up, G19]
* Yvonne thinks about that. "I'll go find the people instead."
[Alright hearing checks everyone there, except Kurt.]
[Suddenly everyone who makes at all hears Ben's voice shouting something. 
However, about now a terrorist opens up fire on Miles, as he's found shooting at
Arktos to be rather unsatisfying.  His aim is mediocre, but he's got a lot of
bullets so dodge roll Miles, +1 from spreading.]
[Next up stone guy and then Ren.]
[Stone guy brings a fist down at Arktos, which he blocks easily with his sword,
but then the rocky behomth resisting the pain from the flaming sword wraps his
arms around Arktos, but doesn't seem to be crushing him yet.]
[Ren arrives!]
[Yvonne and Arktos on deck]
* Ren is in full Cheshire mode. The ghostly fur is still visible even over the
tac armor he's sporting, and he dosen't waste any time whipping out a rifle,
squinting for a moment, then letting loose a shot intended to drop the guy
spreading lead like there's no tomorrow.
[Terrorist guy slumps and then falls out of the window, with a new hole in his
head that apparently didn't prove helpful.]
[Yvonne]
[The last thing the terrorist saw was Miles deftly dodging his bullets.  Not a
satisfying way to go I'm sure.]
* Yvonne skims down the tunnel, keeping her eye out for civvies, terrorists, and
things that explode when people get too close to them.
[Err.. all that happened to Arktos instead.  Yeah, that's the ticket. :P 
Considering Miles is invisible to any sense that terrorist has. :P]
<Miles> (Or is willing to use.  I mean, he *could* hear Miles.  But really,
there's so much stuff going on that's pretty moot. :P)
<Ren> ( He's dead. It's more moot. =p )
<Grysar> (Oh, then we'll sub hear.  That works.)
[Arktos struggles against the stone monster, but doesn't break the hold for
now.]
[Miles!]
* Miles steadies himself and appears holding a familiar softly glowing ball of
force. He eyes the stone monster and grins as a series of portals erupt around
it, from which plants spring forward, trying to grab at it.
[As Yvonne is moving up (and she can finish her turn some, as Miles's doesn't
affect her, she hears and see's some signs of movement in the upper levels of
and around car G19.  She can probably attack one of the sources if that's her
prefered response, although seems like there's several of them.]
* Yvonne tries to get up there and see what it is.
[Jump roll and awareness (sense of choice roll)]
[Stone guy, in the meantime, is rather surprised to be suddenly covered with
rapidly growing vines that secure him in place and cause him to lose his grip on
Arktos]
[Saldin and company!]
[Yvonne manages, with the assistance of a little hovering, to get high enough to
confirm that there is at least one armed terrorist on the upper level, seems
like more but she doesn't know how many.  She can try to attack that guy by
breaking a window and risk however many others there are if she likes, although
she'd be *rather* well advised to not not be hit again.  As she feels she might
lose consciousness with one more solid hit.  Don't say I didn't warn you.]
* Yvonne doesn't want to be hit anymore, so she doesn't.
* Saldin simply _appears_ out of thin air, in the darnkess of the tunnel,
holding the hand of a young Japanese girl. He frowns and says, "This is a
wonderful way to... that is stone, isn't it?"
* Yuri arrives with Saldin, but since she's in the dark too, all you can do is
hear her reply. "Sounds it, yeah. Wanna see?"
* Grysar sets mode: +v Yuri
* Yvonne stays on the ground until she can find a way to get up there without
seen and most likely hurt.
[Kahlya's up next.]
<Saldin> Let us. *starts walking towards the loud noises* Be careful, Yuri.
<Saldin> (Um. Without more information, I can't do anything else, so, uh, if you
were waiting? I guess you can go. c.c;)
<Saldin> (Sorry I didn't make that clear.)
<Grysar> (Right, give me an awareness roll Saldin, sense of choice.)
[Saldin and Yuri get closer, but there's still so much going on they don't have
a clear picture of the present situation.]
[Kahlya go whenever.  Ren, you're on deck.]
[And everyone can clearly see Saldin and Yuri, as everyone else has some form of
night vision.]
* Ren tucks away the rifle, spot-teleporting torwards where he dropped the guy
just seconds before, to see who's holding up how there.
* Yuri is a young bald japanese woman with yellow/gold eyes, and similar tattoos
to Saldin, but wearing a green t-shirt with kanji on it and cut-off jeans.
* Miles is visible down there as he just finished casting his spell. He's still
in a steady stance as he finishes the final chantings to his spell.
<Kahlya> [The dark mist by the central passage remains silent for a few moments
and a stillness settles for a moment.  Then out of the blue, there's the first
sound of metal on something hard.  A razor sharp shard of ice flies out of the
mist.  Moments later, dozens just like it fly out rapidfire out of the cloud,
straight towards the body of the stone giant.]
[The giant's crimson stone develops multiple bluish scars as the ice penetrates
the beast.  The attack doesn't seem quite as effective as it would against a
creature that's vulnerable to the cold, but still looks like the beast is hurt.]
* Stone guy rages against the plants but doesn't manage to break free.
[Yvonne, give me an awareness roll.   Hearing or smell.]
* Ren glances at Miles. "Ya'll holding up okay? Where's the heat at?"
[Ren!  Your turn possibly in conjunction with Kahlya's second half,  but  I want
to keep this moving.]
* Miles glares back where the ice came from. "They're down there! Please help
them!"
* Saldin says in a soft voice, "Ah, I recognize these people... Yuri, these are
the SAB. Be careful which extraplanars you take issue with. They're not all
threats here."
* Kahlya pants a little from the mist. "Ben said something about ninjas..."
<Ren> Right. Lemme give Mr Stiff there a little gift, first. *There's that feral
grin, ... and then a rocket launcher, which is fired at Rocky, waiting for the
effects of the mist to take effect before 'sploding him.*
[Stone guy takes a hit from the rocket launcher.  Flames spread across his body,
but don't seem to bother him in the slightest.  Although he is missing a few
chunks now.]
[Yvonne!]
[Miles on deck.]
* Arktos, for his turn, just starts swinging at the beasty.  He caught some of
the explosion and looks rather near system shutdown, but seems to be rather
bitter about this whole having the crap beaten out of him thing.]
* Ren eyes Rocky for a moment. "... well, damn."
* Yvonne skims back to the others. "Hey, there's a whooooooole bunch of
terrorists going that way in the other tunnel." She points.
* Miles quirks sideways at Ren. "Booms don't work too well on rock." ^^;
[Technically that was slow, and I didn't account for it.  So, Ren get's knocked
on his ass by that particular shot, and it'll take him a round to be back in the
mix of things. ^_^]
<Ren> Booms work well on tanks.
[Whatever Miles is doing, and then Saldin and Yuri!]
* Miles again works his magic, causing another series of portals to open around
the rock-guy and entangle him even more. "I hope that holds him..."
* Ren is knocked flat on his ass! "Gfff."
[Stone guys continued struggling against the plants begins to reap some results
as the new vines don't effectively replace the old ones he throws off.]
[Saldin and Yuri!]
* Saldin says, simply, "Belt, please, Yuri?" He glares at the stone thing,
despite the darkness, as he says this.
* Yuri rolls her eyes and literraly rips Saldin's belt off, causing his robe and
pack to fall off, as she says in a slightly annoyed tone, "Saldin, I cannot
believe my path was to help you take off your clothes."
<Yvonne> I'll trade you!
* Saldin 's amulet raises up, and begins to glow, which everyone could see. A
slight smirk comes over his face. "With Yvonne here, it does seem a waste." The
amulet glows gold once in a loud crack that fades into a hum.
* Miles winces as he botches the last command of the spell, causing it to take
effect somewhere else...
[Ren manages to get up off his ass.  That's his turn.]
[Yvonne!]
* Yvonne watches Saldin.
[Miles vines were apparently not universally ineffective.  While it seems like
stone guy almost has them off Saldin and Yuri both find they're legs grabbed and
will have trouble walking for a bit.  And it's there turn, so exorcism roll
time!]
* Ren hisses at Rocky. Hiss, hiss.
[Saldin's exorcism is largely successful!  Unfortunately it's also accidentally
directed at Arktos, who passes out.]
[Kahlya, cause I skipped her, and then Miles!]
* Yuri is trying to tug her way out of her vines, but can't help but laugh at
that.
<Yvonne> ... You missed.
* Saldin peers. "It must be the darkness. Not one word, little one."
[To avoid lag, go ahead and go simultaneously Miles.]
* Kahlya staggers in the center platform and looks towards Rocky. She sighs.
"Miles, you better be holding that thing as good as it seems...or else I'm
toast." She tries to jump the gap onto the train but falls short, cursing as she
swings her scythe to avoid the vines. She then hovers over the vines and swings
at the monster as she flies past it.
[Monster gets chipped away at some more.  These hits are accumulating, but,
well, made of rock, and still has a good bit of its form.
[Miles!]
<Miles> I'm trying!
* Miles casts the spell to restrain the creature again. Com'on... hold!
<Yvonne> Uhhh... What about the terrorists in the other tunnel? Guys?
<Ren> I'm on it! Wasting too much time here, you guys can deal with it!
* Ren gestures at Rocky when he says 'it.'
[This time Miles's vines manage to regain their purchase.  Monster seems to be
struggling more effectively though, so you may not have it forever.]
[Saldin and Yuri, and it skips its turn, so init penalty doesn't matter. 
Describe and roll!]
[Kahlya again (because I skipped her).  While they're doing that, I'll let them
go first,  in case they succeed.]
* Yuri grimaces, and literally rips her own clothes off at the seams. "We're
going shoppin' as soon as possible, old man. I liked this shirt." She has an
amulet in her hand and, despite the annoyance of the vines, hers does the same
bright flash and glow as Saldin's.
* Saldin simply stayes focused, and his pulses as well in time with hers.
* Yvonne watches! O_o
[The creature screams in what sounds like an avalanche and seems to be held for
now.  It seems to be losing some of its cohesion, not so much falling apart as
at risk of total existance failure.]
[Kahlya and then Ren!]
* Ren jumps on Rocky, perching on it's head for just a brief moment before
leaping off, and dissapearing with a burst of fur.
* Kahlya flies back towards the monster, and there's a soft white chilling mist
just caught out of the black mist surrounding her. She flies again past the
monster but there's no sound of any connecting. There is, however, a growl from
the cloud. "Dammit. His head's *mine*!"
* Yuri says in an odd voice, "He doesn't have a real head, cloudy."
<Kahlya> Whatever.  I just better get a piece of it.
[Yvonne's turn next.]
* Yvonne skims backwards down the tunnel, eyes on Saldin and Yuri. "Right...
terrorists."
<Yuri> (WE'RE NAKED WOO.)
* Yvonne calls. "Don't put any clothes on until I get back1"
[Saldin and Yuri!]
* Yuri 's amulet pulses and she grins. "Yvonne, right?"
* Saldin 's amulet pulses, but he does not respond, instead focused intently.
[The monster fades out, leaving a pile of crimson rubble.   Let's see if Kahlya
notices.]
* Yvonne says nothing. She's not there now!
* Kahlya stops and lets the mist dissipate, revealing herself again, looking
badly beaten and panting, using her scythe to steady herself. She walks over
towards the pile and picks up some of the rubble. "I hope this is enough..." She
sighs. "I appreciate the assist and all but..."
* Saldin 's amulet's glow fades, and he looks back to Yuri with a grin on his
face. "Congratulations, child."
* Yuri 's glow fades and she looks up at Saldin and says, "It's my..." she looks
down at herself and says in shock. "... Stone! I look like stone! And feel like
stone!"
* Kahlya looks over at Saldin evenly. "It's still not over."
* Kahlya then looks over at Yuri curiously. "Um...you are?"
<Grysar> (After about two more comments, a round will have passed)
<Miles> (Can I, um, act?)
* Yuri looks at Kahlya. "Yuri Nanirabo. Monk..." She glances over at Saldin,
then mutters, "Monk in training." She tears at the stupid vines.
* Saldin turns towards Kahlya. "It isn't? Well, I don't know how much help we
can be in the darkness. What is the problem?"
* Yvonne comes back.
[Miles!]
<Grysar> (Sorry Zeg,  forgot about you)
* Kahlya sighs and puts the scythe between her shoulder blades. "The problem is
that none of us have encountered this breed of terrorist anymore."
* Miles runs forward to Kahlya with a worried expression on his face. "U- hold
on plase. It'll just be a few seconds." He mutters softly and puts his hands on
Khyla's person. She can feel a cool rush of water over her person as her wounds
heal at an alarming rate.
* Yuri looks up, wide eyed from her tearing. "Terrorist? Saldin, do you NORMALLY
run into terrorists?"
<Saldin> Less unnecessary speech, Yuri. How can we help?
[Okay, now a round has passed.]
* Yvonne waves. "Hi again! I came back 'cause I didn't wanna get shot. There's a
lot of terrorists up that way and oh hey are you still naked? Cool!"
* Yuri is naked and looks like... uh... a sorta rocky japanese schoolgirl. With
solid yellow eyes. She glares at the loud person and shivers. "Saldin, I'm
taking your robe. You can't wear it anyway." She does so and wraps herself up.
* Yvonne floats over to Yuri. "Your bald too! Are you a monk?" She looks over at
Saldin and grins. "You've got to show me your monestary sometime."
[Give me awareness hearing checks.]
<Saldin> Perhaps later, Yvonne. If we can help, we will, but you must tell us
how. We are blind here.
* Yvonne thinks. "Ummm... well, there's a lot of guys shooting that way," she
points, "And there's somebody teleporting around here. And a lot of mines that
keep hurting me..."
* Kahlya winces a little at the healing then gives Miles a faint smile.
"Thanks..." She then looks around more serious. "Someone needs to stay behind
and make sure that we have all the people on this side left...what's left of
them anyway.."
* Kahlya frowns. "And someone to back them up in case that porter returns."
[Everyone who makes hears some gunfire from the other tunnel and shouting.  And
if you make by at least four you hear Kurt shouting "GOD DAMN IT I HATE
TELEPORTERS!"]
<Kahlya> And...I think that's Mister Petros.
* Miles nods. "I checked the people in that train. They're alive... I believe we
should help Kurt though. He sounds like he's in trouble."
* Yuri starts tearing Saldin from his vinces, which he has not even tried to
tear at yet. In fact, his arms haven't moved the entire time he's been here.
<Grysar> (I'll let you guys act out of init for the moment.  We're now getting
towards the end of the next round.)
<Saldin> Can you get us over there, Miles? It's possible I could help guide his
attacks.
<Miles> I can try, but it'll be hard, and I can only take one with me.
* Saldin shakes his head. "Then it is no good. You had all best hurry. I will
see what I can do."
* Kahlya breathes in hard. "Okay. But what if he comes back over here?"
* Miles nods and vanishes, teleporting in the direction of Kurt's yelling.
* Kahlya blinks. "Guess that solves that." She looks at Yvonne. "How about you?"
[Been another round.]
<Yvonne> Ummm.... I don't wanna get shot anymore.
<Yvonne> What can I do that won't get me shot?
<Kahlya> Stay here and see if there's any people still left around....um...
* Kahlya points to the crimson rock on the ground. "And guard that."
* Saldin looks over at Yvonne and sighs.
* Yvonne eyes Saldin. "Okay, fine, I'll do something that gets me shot. What
should I do?"
* Kahlya glances over at Saldin for a second. "Baldy can do whatever he wants.
But there's still a couple on the loose."
* Yuri starts walking towards Yvonne, Saldin's robe tied around her so she's no
longer naked, just rocky. "He was just being grouchy because his arms were
broken. Lemme see if I can help you with that being shot... stuff."
<Yvonne> Ohhhhhhhh.... Poor Saldin.
* Kahlya just eyes Saldin and Yvonne for a moment then turns around, clanking
her scythe against the ground. "What you shouldn't do is waste any more time.
I'm going." She heads towards the center tunnel, this time listening for mines
as she passes through.
<Grysar> (Pause in here.)
* Yvonne blinks at Kahlya. "Hey! Uh... Oh, nevermind." She turns to Yuri. "So,
whatcha gonna do?"
<Grysar> (Need a Zeg.)
<Yuri> (Ehe.)
* Saldin 's amulet glows and his pack floats from his side, to Yuri. "You will
need this."
* Yuri grabs the pack and starts digging through it. "Thanks. We're gonna try to
patch you up, because..." Yuri finally touches Yvonne. "You're bleeding like
crazy! How do you even stand?"
<Yvonne> Oh, it's hard. These things are so heavy... Oh! Yeah, I am bleeding a
lot.  There were a lot of bullets and explosions and things, and... owwww...
* Yuri whistles. "Sweet Buddah, lady." A small beat. "Yes, I know, Saldin. Do
it."
<Grysar> (Most of the way to the next round)
* Saldin 's amulet glows and things happen!
* Yuri waits for the bullets to leave Yvonne's body, as they do, and then tries
to bandage her up, but it doesn't work so well. "Stupid rock fingers. You picked
a bad day for this, Saldin."
<Yvonne> Ew. Well, at least the bullets are out now.  That would've been bad, if
they stayed.
<Yuri> We thought so.
<Yvonne> Maaaaaaybe we should go find the others. Maybe those terrorists are
gone now.
<Miles> (Maybe the explosion should happen now?  ^^;)
[Rond past.  There's still the occassional distant sound of gunfire.  Less now.]
[Oh, and explosion!]
[But not as big as the mines.]
<Saldin> I think that finding the others would be good, but we do not move
quickly.
* Yuri mutters.
<Yvonne> Ohhhh.
<Yvonne> What should we do? Should I go?
<Yvonne> I'll go. I'll be back!
* Yvonne waves, then skims down the tunnel.
* Saldin just watches her go.
* Yuri starts packing up things she took out of Saldin's pack. "Saldin? Are
things always so hectic?"
<Saldin> Of course not.
* Yuri slings Saldin's pack over her shoulder, carrying it with ease. "Perhaps
we should follow the path?"
* Saldin smiles and says, "Take my hand, Yuri, and we will see." Then he and she
walk off...
<Yuri> (And we're gone!)
<Yvonne> ( You wind up 20 feet behind where you walked off. )
<Saldin> (... Damn!)
[And Saldin and Yuri don't appear anywhere else in the chunnel.]
