Advancement: How rewards may be spent:
PurchasesThe money may be spent to buy additional gadgets or anything else the character is capable of purchasing. Note: There are many items not available to the general public that can only be purchased by characters with 'portable armoury' or 'organizational ties'. You may use another character as your purchasing agent at a rate of his/her choosing.

1 pound is worth 1.5 U.S. dollars (2003). Assume the prices for everything are roughly the same as they are today, although the technology will be more advanced. Let me know what you are buying and how much it costs. If you're spending money on lifestyle items for your character that won't come into play during missions mark it on your sheet. narrative benefits may result.

Insured itemsFor twice the price you may purchase items that will be insured by Lloyds of London through SAB. If these items are destroyed or lost during the natural course of a mission they will be replaced or you will recieve reimbursement.

Reimbursement is 25,000 pounds per minor item and 100,000 pounds per major item. This money counts as reward money. All items acquired via gadgets are automatically insured. Destroying your own items or unnecessarily allowing them to be destroyed is insurance fraud which can be committed, but don't be surprised should consequences occur.

TrainingIf you would prefer training to money, you may spend 20,000 of a reward to gain access to SAB training facilities and instructors. In games mechanics terms, you may buy one skill point (not level of skill. skill point) per 20,000 pounds. Note, you may not spend money from wealth or any other source, including other player's rewards, to acquire this training.
Personal improvement200,000 pounds may be exchanged for advanced training (One CP). As with training, you may not spend money from wealth or any other source, including other player's rewards, to acquire this training.
SavingsYou may choose not to cash out a portion of you reward until you are ready to spend it. This will be necessary for personal improvement.
